The Clinical Documentation Support (CDS) module of Health Navigator expedites telemedicine encounters by allowing a patient to complete their own Rapid Medical History during a pre-encounter check-in process using patient friendly terms and following health literacy principles.
For every chief complaint there is other important clinical information that healthcare personnel should obtain from the patient. For example, a patient with a head injury should be asked about headache, loss of consciousness, vomiting, and whether he or she takes blood thinners.
The CDS system allows physicians and other healthcare personnel to review the patient responses and organize the collected positive and negative data elements for export as a SOAP (Subjective-Objective-Assessment-Plan) note.
Health Navigator works with eHealth, telemedicine, and other healthcare companies to provide evidence-based digital health information content that improves patient care and that advances both the patient and provider experience.
